I joined the military shortly after high school. I was the oldest of three and even though both of my parents had attended college, neither was equipped to guide me through or even insist I navigate my own college application process. Even after leaving active duty, my college selection “process” was to apply to the one school that had been suggested to me by my platoon leader, because it was in Chicago and I knew that was where I wanted to make my home.

I joined the Ariadne team to ensure a better process for others. I believe our entire country would be a better place if more families had more access to more options. Knowledge and time availability should not be barriers to a student and their family choosing their best path.

I have worked across the globe in various capacities and with amazing teams, from the U.S. Army and Navy, to my time as a diplomat in places like Pakistan. I hold a Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an MBA from The George Washington University. Now, I enjoy spending my time assembling and leading teams dedicated to social impact - meeting families where they are during some of life’s most stressful financial decisions. When I’m not problem solving with teams, I’m with my family enjoying everything Chicago has to offer.
