These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ariadnecollegeadvisors.com (the "Site") and the college advising services offered by Ariadne College Advisors LLC ("Ariadne College Advisors," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site, purchasing our services, or submitting information through our forms, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.

The Services

Ariadne College Advisors provides college advising services, including guidance packages and individual ("à-la-carte") services, along with educational content and workshops or events. Some content on the Site is informational only and does not create an advisor-client relationship. That relationship begins only when you enter into a separate service agreement or engagement with us.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase services or enter into agreements with us. Students who are minors may use the Site and Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for any purchases and for the information submitted on the student's behalf.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Our Services provide guidance, feedback, and strategy to support your college planning. We do not and cannot guarantee admission to any college or university, the award of any scholarship or financial aid, any particular test score, or any other specific outcome. Admissions and financial decisions rest solely with the institutions and organizations that make them. Any examples of past results are illustrative and are not a promise of future results.

Purchases, Fees, and Payments

• Prices are those displayed at the time of your purchase.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize the applicable charge and represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
• You are responsible for providing accurate and complete billing information.
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
• Refunds and cancellations are governed by the specific service agreement or engagement for the services you purchase. If you have questions about a charge, please contact us.

Scheduling, Workshops, and Events

Some Services, workshops, and events require registration and may have limited capacity. We may modify, reschedule, or cancel a session or event, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify registrants. Access links for virtual events are intended for the registered participant.

User Submissions and Accuracy

When you submit information through the Site — including form entries, intake details, and any essays or documents you share for review — you agree that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You grant us permission to use that information as needed to provide the Services to you.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site or Services for any unlawful purpose.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or its security features, including our bot-protection measures.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site through automated means without our permission.
• Upload or submit content that is infringing, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Intellectual Property

The Site and its content — including text, materials, guides, graphics, and branding — are owned by Ariadne College Advisors or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Site and any materials we provide for your own college planning. You may not reproduce, resell, or distribute our content without our prior written permission.

Third-Party Services and Links

We rely on third-party services to operate the Site and Services, including Stripe, Cloudflare, Google, and Brevo, and the Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of those third parties, and your use of their services is governed by their own terms and policies.

Privacy

Your use of the Site and Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ariadne College Advisors and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Services giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ariadne College Advisors and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or Services or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Illinois.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above, and changes become effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site or Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. These Terms, together with any service agreement you enter into with us and our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Ariadne College Advisors regarding the Site and Services.
